Penetron Protects Retal Rise and Nobu Hotel, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Penetron is proud to protect the two basement levels of Retal Rise and Nobu Hotel in Al Khobar, a Retal tower and hotel development, designed by East Consulting Engineering Company (ECEC), managed by Colliers and built by Ibrahim Asmael General Contracting.
The complete Penetron system was supplied for waterproofing and repair. PENETRON ADMIX was incorporated into approximately 12,000 m³ of concrete, becoming part of the concrete itself to reduce permeability and seal capillaries and static hairline cracks. Complementary Penetron repair products treated localized defects, cracks and joints, giving continuous protection across the basement structures.
The result is integral waterproofing and repair from a single system, with lower long term maintenance. The project adds to Penetron’s growing list of references in Al Khobar, alongside Remal Business Compound, Rixos Resort, Half Moon and The Shed Mall.
